David Studebaker

David Studebaker is currently Director of Liberty Grove Software, Inc., with partner Karen Studebaker. In the fall of 1963 took the COBOL course taught at Purdue University, where the first computer science department of the U.S. was later created. Next spring, undergraduates David was assigned to teach graduate-level class. Since then, David has been an active participant in every step of computer technology, from early mainframes to today's technology, from the assembly of the binary encoding for C / AL. He has worked with over 40 different makes and models of computers, over a dozen operating systems and more than two dozen different programming languages.

Special projects include the development of the first production system spooler in 1967. In the decades following, David was project manager and lead developer of several application systems business commercial distribution. Application areas in which David has worked range from engineering to manufacturing goods to the general accounts of mass public transit to banking services to non-profit management association for legal billing distribution and inventory management, shop floor data collection and production management.

David has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from the University of Chicago, both with concentrations in computer science. Product Description
Service-Oriented Applications and Architectures (SOAs) have captured the interest of industry as a way to support business-to-business interaction, and the SOA market grew by $4.9 billion in 2005. SOAs and in particular service-oriented computing (SOC) represent a promising approach in the development of adaptive distributed systems. With SOC, applications can open themselves to services offered by third parties and accessed through standard, well-defined interfaces. The binding between the applications and the services can be, in this context, extremely loose—enabling the ad hoc creation of new services when the need arises. This book offers an overview of some current research in the field, presenting the results of eighteen research projects funded by the European Community’s Information Society Technologies Program (IST). The projects, collaborations between industry and academia, have produced practical, achievable results that point the way to real-world applications and future research.

The chapters address such issues as requirement analysis, design, governance, interoperability, and the dependability of systems made up of components owned by third parties. The results are presented in the context of two roadmaps for research, one developed by European industry involved in software development and the other by researchers working in the service area. Pro Decrypting VBScript Viruses

In this book, you will learn how to decrypt a VBScript and find the original source code; it will also teach you a number of techniques used by hackers to protect their source code. That may be so effective for use with your own code or your secret algorithms, which is very useful. This book will not talk about the virus behavior or its VBScript specified functions right now (another book will discuss the VBScript viruses behavior wait for it?, you check for other related books), it is intended to discuss the methods hackers use to obfuscate their source code so others can’t understand it. And AVs cannot just detect the threats so early.
I gave also some examples about some easy-to-understand viruses and other algorithms I found on the web, so they can make a good base you can start from, I also mention some ways of decrypting Encoded scripts by the WSD (Windows Script Decoder), but I don’t provide any tools or real codes (you know Microsoft and the Copyrights!!!!).
Also, this book supposes that you have a little knowledge about VBScript and scripting in general. It will not teach you VBScript, if you wish learn VBScript those books are so good to start: wrox vbscript programmer’s reference or Sams VBScript WMI and ADSI Unleashed.
Another more thing: there is no Technical Reviewer or any help from others, I wrote this book alone, if there are some errors you can understand the situation, also English is not my language, so expect lots of grammatical mistakes, your help is welcome about that of course.
